Statement by President Harry S. Truman, November 13, 1945. Included in this statement is the text of a letter Truman sent to the Prime Minister of England in which he said:
“…no other single matter is so important for those who have known the horror of concentration camps for over a decade as is the future of immigration possibilities into Palestine.”
